| We've had some adventures over the years, and we've chosen a few and put
them together here for you to see, (if you have stories like these
on your own website please let us know and we'll put a link to your site) We have disguised the registration numbers from the vehicles to protect the identity of the drivers |

LEAD STORY - New lorry park at the Lizard Cornwall We consider this to be the furthest south in the UK that anyone has had to go to recover an artic and fully loaded trailer. We were called to this incident on the Lizard when a driver had taken a wrong turn and ended up in the National Trust car park. The road just ran out he said and there was nowhere to turn around as you can see by the photographs it was just a little hair raising due to the close proximity of the cliffs and the drop into the sea. This recovery was completed by winching and manoevering the vehicle backwards and forwards until the vehicle was facing in a forwards position to enable it to be towed the 1 to 1.5 miles back to the main highway. |

Fisherman's Pickup St. Mawes Although the owner was not bothered about recovering the vehicle until the tide went out the harbour master insisted that it was recovered immediately due to the oil and diesel leaking into the harbour. |
